About Our Studio

Founded in 2012 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Aligarh Game Dev has grown from a small indie studio into a leading force in the Indian gaming industry.

Our journey began with a passion for storytelling and interactive entertainment. Today, we employ over 120 talented developers, artists, designers, and producers working across multiple projects. We specialize in creating games that not only entertain but also showcase India's rich cultural heritage through digital media.

Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including motion capture facilities, VR development labs, and advanced testing suites. We follow Agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery without compromising on quality.

2012

Studio founded with 5 members. Released our first mobile game "Rickshaw Run".

2016

Expanded to 25 employees. Won "Best Indie Game" at India Game Developer Conference.

2020

Launched "Chakra: The Awakening" which reached 5 million downloads globally.

2024

Currently developing 8 major titles with teams across India and international collaborators.

Aligarh Game Dev Announces Partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment

We're excited to announce a strategic partnership with Sony to develop exclusive content for PlayStation 5. This collaboration will bring Indian mythological stories to next-generation consoles with cutting-edge graphics and gameplay.

The partnership includes technical support, co-marketing, and access to Sony's development tools. Our first title under this partnership is expected to release in late 2025.

Our Game "Street Cricket Premier" Surpasses 10 Million Downloads

Our flagship mobile sports game has reached a major milestone with over 10 million downloads worldwide. The game continues to receive regular updates with new tournaments, players, and stadiums.

To celebrate, we're launching a special in-game event with exclusive rewards for all players throughout April 2024.
